Mining

EPG delivers a broad range of environmental planning and permitting services in support of hard rock, coal, sand and gravel, and pozzolan (used as an alternative to fly ash in the production of cement). We have also assisted in the development, reclamation, and siting of related facilities including transmission lines, pipelines, and other forms of supporting infrastructure.

Our experienced personnel have provided feasibility siting and licensing services for mining projects, including exploration, development, compliance, and reclamation services. Our experience includes work with small mining operations to large international mining companies, as well as state and federal agencies (e.g., state Abandoned Mine Land Programs, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Indian Affairs, United States Forest Service, Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement).

Our specific services include, but are not limited to the following:

Philosophy

The extraction and use of minerals has, and continues to be fundamental in meeting our needs. Our approach with our clients is to assist them in meeting their objectives while doing it in a manner that assists in minimizing environmental impacts. Like all the markets that we serve, it’s part of why we are in the business—supporting our needs of the future and leaving present environments in better shape than we find them for the next generation.

EPG will be your pragmatic partner, navigating you through compliance that protects you and the environment. For your mining project, don’t settle for sustainability…EPG will make your project thrive.
